Strawberry Season
Seasonality: Mid-June | ~ 2 weeks long
Store Hours: Sat & Sun | 10 AM - 5 PM
PYO Hours: Varies depending on crop status & weather.
FUN FACT! Brown’s Harvest originally started with strawberries! Back in 1979, Jane Brown launched Brown’s Harvest as a small roadside farm stand selling fresh-picked strawberries. At one point, we grew over 25 acres of strawberries right here on the farm.
Today, we grow around 2.5 acres and continue the tradition each summer with our seasonal strawberry harvest. We offer U-Pick strawberries each year depending on crop quality and weather conditions. Strawberry season is short, usually only about two weeks in June, so don’t miss your chance to experience it!
We are proud to supply Hartford County’s best restaurants, grocery stores, and markets, including Tosca, Restaurant Bricco, The Laurel, Metro Bis, Millwright's, Julien's Farm Store, Wade's Farm Fresh, Enfield Produce, Ellington Farmers Market and Geissler's Supermarket. For generations, our family has been proud to grow fresh, local berries and share a small piece of Connecticut agriculture with our community.
